A virtual exhibition of collaborative paintings by Judith Hooks and Harold Annen

Web-based images of art are no substitute for the genuine article. This is especially true of the images presented in this virtual exhibition. The actual paintings are formed of multiple images, using many layers of varnish and color. Because of these characteristics, photographing these paintings is somewhat like trying to photograph a mirror. Consequently, these images are presented with the expressed purpose of providing a general idea of the kind of work which Judith Hooks and Harold Annen create together and not as a documentation of their work.
