Show dates July 23-August 23, 2010
Reception: Gallery Night July 23, 2010, 5pm-10pm. Food and refreshments Music by Keith Watling.
Also open Gallery day, 12-5pm
Help us Celebrate our 20th Anniversary! All participants are expected to attend the gallery night reception to meet with each other and greet visitors and celebrate our anniversary
.MEDIA: All fine arts including: printmaking, metal, photography, mixed media, painting, pastels, and sculpture.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all adult artists who have been members of WPAA/Gallery 218 in the past 20 years.
DEADLINES: Drop off actual work during gallery hours. Deadline extended until full.
ENTRY FEE: The entry fee is $20.00 in celebration of 20 years, for one entry. Make checks payable to WPAA, Inc.
Pick Up: The following weekend the show closes. (Please note: You will not be contacted.) Work left behind will be donated to a charity of our choice
All fees go to help this gallery to continue to exist and show emerging artists' work.
Criteria Work is limited to one entry. Size limit-No larger than 34" in any direction and 4 pounds in weight.
All work MUST BE READY for Professional presentation.
This means that ALL 2d WORK MUST BE FRAMED with picture wire and ready for hanging. The wire must be taut and be 5 inches down from the top of the frame. Adjustable wire is preferred.
NO CLAW TYPE HANGERS OR CLIP FRAMES-they do not work with our brick walls and nails, and your work fall to the floor.
*3D work must have a black or white pedestal and must be anchored down securely. Our floors rock-literally.
Attach your own typed ID label to back of work. Include your name and phone number, price, title.
Artists may not substitute work or prices at any time after entering, nor alter the painting nor withdraw the work once it is accepted in the show.
The artist's participation grants the WPAA the right to use the image of the accepted work for publicity, educational and reference purposes. Copyright remains the property of the artist. final selections will be made by the director and current gallery artists, as needed. Limit is 20 artists.
INSURANCE AND Sales: Works entered will not be insured during the exhibition. While professional and responsible care will be taken in handling all work, neither WPAA nor Gallery 218 nor its officers will assume any responsibility for any loss or any damage to any art work. Gallery 218 will assist in sales and take a 35 % commission (25% for members) on sales. The gallery offers a 90 day lay-away policy. Deposits are not refundable.
All work is to be hand delivered and picked up.
AGREEMENT Submission of work implies acceptance of all conditions set forth.GALLERY 218 is committed to providing exhibition opportunities to area artists. Every artist who enters this show contributes to the success of this non commercial cooperative space. Volunteers to gallery-sit and perform other duties are needed. Thank you for your support!

Artists may not display business cards or other sales materials which do not have the gallery logo and gallery information included while exhibiting in the space.
